How it Works

    Submit your work in a Word document via our online submission system.

    Rename your document as surname_first name.doc. e.g. If Tom Jones submits his work for proofreading, the document should be named as jones_tom.doc.

    We will send you a non-obligatory quote and some sample work for the assigned job shortly.

  2. Payment

    Accept the order if you are happy with our quote.

    eProofreading and eEditing Make full upfront payment via PayPal.
    eResearch Pay the deposit via PayPal.

  3. Work commences

    For eProofreading and eEditing services the Track Changes function in Microsoft Word will be used.

  4. Work completed

    eProofreading and eEditing Within the specified date you will receive a copy of work with markup suggestions and you can consider the suggested changes and choose to accept or reject them with one click. Comments and other suggested revisions are inserted in the text as marginal notes. Refer to our Guidelines to Track Changes.
    eResearch You will be notified upon completion of work.

  5. Ongoing support

    eProofreading and eEditing As we emphasise the importance of personal service, we are happy to provide you with some online advice within 7 days after you have received your work or a face-to-face tutorial as an optional extra (in Nottingham only).
    eResearch Further revisions can be made to your satisfaction within 7 days after you have received your work.
